Hi there !
Starting today I will scan all new pictures with 300dpi and put them on my pages in two formats:
y 600 means the picture is sized to fill out the height of a 800x600 display.
x 800 means the picture is sized to fill out the width of a 800x600 display.
y 600 is the default-size for clicking on thumbnails, and usually has the smaller size.
Exceptions to this are:
- The image is very small, in this case I will scan it in at 600dpi.
- The image is smaller than one of the two sizes.
